About Income Edge
Income Edge is for investors who want steady income from options, even if they have never placed an options trade. Our analyst team does the research and tells you exactly what to place.
Here's the strategy in plain English. A put credit spread is two trades placed together. You sell a put on a stock and get paid for it right away. Then you buy a cheaper put a little lower, which caps the most you can lose. If the stock stays above your first strike until the trade ends, you keep the payment.
You know the numbers before you start: what you collect, the most you can lose, and the date the trade ends.
Every call-out spells out the stock, both strikes, the expiration and the credit to collect. When it's time to take the profit or get out, we call that out too. A typical trade lasts about two weeks.
Behind the call-outs is the platform to run the strategy: an options journal that syncs with your brokerage, the Smart Options Screener, Auto-TA charts, and every stock pick and report in Alpha.

Income Edge Overview
- How often is this service published?
- We send a call-out each time our analysts open or close a spread. Most weeks have a few new trades.
- How much capital should I have to get started?
- $10,000 or more. A spread only ties up the most it can lose, so you need far less than you would for cash-secured puts.
- Do I need anything from my broker?
- Your broker has to approve you to trade spreads. Most brokers call it options level 2 or 3, and it's a short form to apply.
- What will we be trading?
- Put credit spreads on well-known US stocks and index funds.
- How much risk am I taking?
- Every spread has a maximum loss you know before you place it: the gap between the two strikes, minus what you collected. Some trades will lose, so keep each one small. Close each spread before it expires so you aren't assigned shares.
- Do you put on short trades?
- No. We never short stock or sell naked options. Every put we sell is paired with a put we buy, which caps the risk.
- What's a typical holding period?
- About two weeks. Half of our spreads are closed within 2 weeks, and the median is 13 days.
